Narcissistic Abuse

Vol. 3

From Fearful to Fearless

Did you know that years prior to the covid pandemic, psychologists reported that over 158 million people in the U.S. were affected by narcissistic abuse?

They also reported those numbers as being low, because they couldn’t account for the parents and children who were a part of the generational cycle of Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

They also reported that people who suffer from NPD have an average of 5 victims within their lifetime. Narcissistic Personality Disorder is categorized in the same cluster of personality disorders as psychopaths and sociopaths, according to the American Psychological Association. In addition, a person with NPD can also have multiple other personality disorders, including sociopath, psychopath, and more.

Many times, women stay in abusive relationships because they can’t believe that the person they swore to love in sickness and in health can innately hate them through a smile.

I’m here to tell you that it’s not your fault. When people see a woman who has been a victim of physical abuse, they are more inclined to help her and get her the resources she needs because they see the physical evidence. However, victims of narcissistic abuse carry their severely bleeding wounds on the inside.

For most victims, the bleeding wounds of the emotional, mental, sexual, and financial traumatic abuse they have gone through in secret are carried on the inside.

They can go untreated and unnoticed by the average person for years, which may also turn into excessive drinking, and drug use because that is the fastest escape from their insidious abuse. We know women birth generations which means the bleeding wounds of their mental, emotional, financial, and sexual abuse are felt generations deep.
